Biography 

Connor Babos is a woodwind multi-instrumentalist performer and educator, performing and teaching in a wide variety of settings in the New York Metropolitan Area. He specializes in Saxophones, Clarinets and Bassoon. His professional performance experience includes Salsa Bands, Religious Music, Orchestras, Wind Ensembles and a large number of Pit Orchestras.  He graduated from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, where he obtained a Bachelors of Music degree in Music Education and Jazz Studies. At Rutgers, he performed on the baritone saxophone in Rutgers Jazz Ensemble I and the Rutgers Mingus Big Band alongside guest artists such as Michael Dease, Claudio Roditi, John Beasly, and Eddie Palmieri. Other highlights of his Rutgers career include performing as bass clarinetist of the Rutgers University Symphonic Winds, principal bassoonist of the Rutgers Symphony Band, and as a member of Bacoustics (the Rutgers University bassoon ensemble). Connor is a dedicated teacher who brings the benefits of a diverse career to his students. In addition to a private studio of saxophone, clarinet, flute and bassoon students, he also teaches chamber music and jazz improvisation at the Rutgers University Extension Division in New Brunswick New Jersey.  For more detail please see the attached resume.
